Mygrandmother fried chicken and baked biscuits on the full sized version of thisminiature Resent cast iron stove. This little stove is an almost exact replica of the real thing. It is complete with four lids that lift out, a tiny water well and removable side shelves. This charming piece of history has all the accessories, a cooking pot, water pot, skillet and coal bucket and shovel. It is marked "Crescent" on the stoves door. My mother told me that when she was a child people who had money bought these salesman samples as toys for their children.
