This beautiful, vintage, spotted, painted flat nail eyed, 2 1/2 inch, "Crippled Mouse Fishing Lure" with it's original box brochure was made by Elman "Bud" Stewart (1912-1998) AKA Michigan's Legendary Lure Maker of Flint, Michigan. The circa is 1980s. Bud was so revered as a fishing lure and fish decoy maker, and also as a folk artisan, that a book about his life and creations was written about him while he was still living. Keep in mind that Bud had to paint each spot individually by hand. This neat Mouse lure is in the most desirable red spot paint finish. The condition of the lure is excellent (unfished), except for a small varnish flaw at the bottom of it's tail area (see my quality image) and also it is signatured signed by Bud. The condition of the scarce box brochure is also excellent. The winning bidder pays $5 for quality packaging and priority mail shipping.
