Here is a very nice and fairly rare Old wooden Crosley "Victory Model" tube radio. The wooden chassis is in great shape, the fabric on the left side speaker is frayed at the top, Has an "airplane panel" with both foreign and American stations. When I turn it on, the lights come on in back and it makes different noises when you turn the dial, but I THINK its supposed to be hooked up to an antenna wire. Great old radio in pretty decent condition! This Crosley model 63TA Victory Model was obviously a tribute to America and it's involvement at the successful conclusion of WWII, it must have been one of the first radios off Crosley's assembly line after they switched back to making civilian products. The large airplane dial-pointer, the use of Foreign and American instead of SW and BC to label the bands, and the statement that it is a Crosley Victory Model on it's colorful gold, red, white and blue dial kind of says it all. Even though it's speaker fabric shows some wear, this radio survives to honor those who fought and gave their lives to protect America in WWII.
