Vintage L & L Crystal Chandelier Over 150 crystals c. 1970's DESCRIPTION: Ornate and lavish, vintage Crystal Chandelier from L & L White Metal Casting Co. out of Carlstadt, New Jersey, U.S.A. The company produced high quality lamps and hanging lighting fixtures until they closed at retirement in 1974. The Chandelier is marked on the metal base L & L WMC 1972. Authentic and original, it is in excellent condition, with all 150+ crystals and spears intact. Crystals have no chips or cracks, 95% are original (balance have been replaced). We purchased the Chandelier at an estate sale in Brentwood, California. The former owner purchased the fixture new in the early 1970's. The Chandelier has six (6) distinct waterfall areas, each draped in crystal spears surrounding one light. It has a traditional spider top with almond-shaped crystals. This chandelier is truly stunning and looks more antique than vintage. Metal frame has naturally aged to an antiqued golden colour patina that contrasts beautifully with the clear fire-polished crystals. Included is the matching chain and ornate carved ceiling canopy.
