Presented for auction is a wonderful vintage find...a Tiara Crystal PEDESTAL CAKE STAND in the very lovely LIGHT GREEN color known as "Chantilly"...in the "Sandwich" glass pattern. It comes with its ORIGINAL BOX...and ORIGINAL GOLD FOIL LABEL, which reads: A Tiara Exclusive. T is a light wear on the label and box; a person's name is also on the box. It measures 10 1/4" wide and stands 4" tall. It was made by Tiara Crystal for only four (4) years...1982-1986. MINT CONDITION...no wear...with the original foil label still intact it probably was never used! No chips or cracks. Detailed top-to-bottom...beautifully pressed design from the underside of the plate, framed with a pie crust-type rim. T is an ever so slight touch of discoloration from the adhesive around the pedestal attachment on the underside of the plate...commonly found in vintage glass pedestal cake stands. What a beautiful color to use for the upcoming holidays...Christmas, St. Patrick's Day & Easter! In the last picture, you will see it paired with an antique Emerald Green Pedestal Cake Stand. I did this to show the contract in color, as it was hard to capture the light green shade as it is seen in person.
