This is a very nice cukoo clock, made in Germany. I know very little about cukoo clocks, so I don't care to take the back off to see if t is a date, etc.. The clock is not working (chains are pulled all of the way down), but it does not appear that the back has ever been removed to check it out. The little door opens by hand, bringing a little white bird with red and yellow beak out, and then snaps shut. When the owls are tipped by hand, they both make the cukoo sounds. The two owls and the bird on top all have their orange and black glass eyes, the nest contains 2 wooden securely attached eggs, and all wooden parts appear to be in perfect condition, with no cracks or missing parts. The clock's hands are intact, and the face appears to be in perfect condition, with the word "Germany" in white letters on it. I have not been able to find the second weight, but t is one weight included. The leaf that swings is lacking the stick that it attaches to, which should be a minor fix (see photo), but the metal swinging hook mechanism is t to attach it to. This clock is 13 " high by 10" wide at it's widest point. I believe this would be a prize purchase for anyone. Enjoy!
