You are bidding on a lovely original piece of near mint souvenir custard glass from Piqua, Ohio which is dated 1903, making this piece 104 years old. If you are unfamiliar with custard glass, please check the website at /kind/custard which gives a very interesting history and explanation of this type of glass. Piqua, Ohio is in the metropolitan Dayton, Ohio area, and is located on the Miami River. This piece is 2 3/4 inches high at its highest point and is approximately 2 inches in diameter. The glass is opaque and the custard hue is a light yellow and the writing on it is in red. Unfortunately, my pictures do not accurately show the shade of custard-yellow, but this item is definitely not white as the camera made it appear. T is what I believe to be a gold beading design slightly above the base and t was a gold trim on the opening which is worn as you can hopefully see in my pictures. T are no chips, nicks, cracks or damage to this piece other than those of normal wear and tear on something 104 years old! Although I am not a glass expert, I have described this item to the best of my ability. We accept PayPal, cashiers check or money orders. If you are displeased with your purchase for any reason, I will refund your money but cannot refund shipping costs. I will be glad
