This auction is for one of several wonderful sets of collectible vintage cigarette lighters that belonged to my father (who was a non smoker). He just loved to collect them. To be honest, they are so clean they look like they were never used, however, I know absolutely nothing about collectible lighters so I will be listing them "as is". This sale is for a VERY old 7 Up Bottling Co. 'cylinder' cigarette lighter. It is from the Flint, Michigan Bottling Plant (even the old phone number is listed "Phone 9-7777"). It is made up of 3 interlocking pieces, which when inserted into each other measures approximately 3.0" long (please see photos). The chrome tube is engraved with "Redi Lite" (in script), "Pat. 1820131 Made in __ B & B St. Paul, MN". A very neat find, for sure! It seems to be in very nice condition though there are a few scratches on the creamy white portion of the lighter, not all that noticeable, however I wanted to note them just the same.
