Up for bids with no reserve is a vintage service for 4 Epiag Czechoslovakian China that dates back to 1920-1945. The bottom of each piece is marked "Epiag...Czechoslovakia" and has a makers mark with a arm holding what looks like a sword. According to the research I did, it was produced by Springer & Co. I believe the pattern is called Bridal Rose. The design is a beautiful honeycomb motif with various cottage flowers (including roses) with a gold trim. What you get with this set is: 4 dinner plates that measure @ 10-1/4 in diameter ; 4 salad plates that meausre @ 6-1/4 inches in diameter; 4 small bowls that measure @ 5-1/4 inches in diameter X @ 1-1/4 inches (height) ; 4 (7 ounce) tea cups that measure @ 2-1/4 inches (height) X @ 4-1/4 inches (width to handle) X @ 3-1/8 inches (diameter); and 4 saucers that measure @ 6 inches in diameter. I am auctioning off other Epiag Bridal Rose pieces. None of the pieces are chipped, nicked, or cracked (etc). The only problem I see with the set is that some of the gold trim is rubbed off in places, due to the age of the set, and a bit of paint is rubbed off w the dinner plates were stacked together....see the pictures.
