ABSOLUTELY LOVELY VINTAGE METAL TRAY BY DAHER DECORATED WARE DESIGNED BY DAHER LONG ISLAND, N.Y. 11101 MADE IN ENGLAND This is a beautiful metal tray that I believe is from the 60s-70s timeframe. It is a large square tray with rounded corners measuring about 13 1/2" X 13 1/2". The colors are vibrant reds, yellows, blues, greens, gold and white. There is a depiction in the center of a courtyard with 3 colorful roosters and two blue and yellow birds in a flowering tree. The theme overall looks Oriental in design to me but there are flowers that look more OLD WORLD ENGLISH as well. It is very beautiful and ornate. There are scratches to the surface but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the tray. There is also some scratch wear around the edges from it's use. The back has a maker's mark which reads DAHER DECORATED WARE DESIGNED BY DAHER LONG ISLAND-N.Y. 11101 MADE IN ENGLAND. It also says on the back, TO CLEAN WIPE LIGHTLY WITH A DAMP CLOTH. This tray could easily be hung on a wall as art or placed on an easel for display. It is that pretty! If you use it to serve food just wipe clean and do not soak or use abrasive cleaners. International shipments may not ship for 3-4 working days and the price for shipping and handling will be quoted when the order is confirmed.
