Offered. A Danforth "Constellation" compass and Kelvin-White Binnacle. As close as I can measure, the globe measures 6-1/4 in. across at the base. The books say 6-5/16 for a 6 in. compass. The compass works fine, and no bubbles in the oil. The serial number on the compass is A-112XX. Maybe this will help someone determine the age. The photos show the original underside finish of the compass in execellant condition.The compensator balls are iron, painted copper. The total wieght is 25 lbs. The base is 8 in. and it is approx. 9 in. high. Thank you for your interest.
