Vintage Danish Erik Jorgensen Wooden Necklace Up for auction is this Large Modernist Danish Necklace by designer Erik Jorgensen. Necklace probably dates from the 1950's or 60's and is a fine example of Scandinavian Modern design. Necklace is hand made in wood and aluminum with a 27" Silver chain. It is comprised of a hanging Wooden square with aluminum line and a silver chain. Necklace measures 27" around and the Pendent demensions are 32mm wide x 60mm high. I just recently acquired quite a lot of this designerâe(tm)s jewelry. It was found in the attic of my motherâe(tm)s house. The story is that my uncle, who owned the house before my mother, purchased a large lot of this jewelry brand new at an AMMEX located in Canada in the early 1960âe(tm)s. He never did anything with it and has sense passed. We just discovered it in the attic this winter.
