Vintage Danish Modern Tension Pole Lamp Mid Century This auction is for a great working Eames Era Danish Modern pole lamp with walnut wood panel middle and gold pole on top and bottom. You can have just bottom light lit, two top lights, or all three. So a three way switch of options all in working order. Top and bottom gold metal areas separate from middle, and t is an unpluggable cord inside. So nice for easy disassembly in shipping. Shades are in excellent condition with wood accent pieces on shade and top area. A few nearly invisible scratch marks on wood-not really even worth mentioning (if you are picky a furniture marker will make them disappear). T is normal discoloration to gold poles. It is my understanding that people are sanding these down and repainting them with spray paint. It is your option. But all these older pole lamps seem to have discoloration to gold. A great lamp for you! It is about 8 1/2 feet from top to bottom. It of course has some give so t is tension when put up to a ceiling. Bid today, NO RESERVE, so the high bidder wins!
