An original condition Dansette Senator record player finished in pea green vinyl cloth with chrome fittings. All original on the outside with new electrical components fitted to the inside sufficient to bring the player back to life and original sound output (new rectifier, capacitors, power cable & plug). Being entirely original externally, there are many marks and small tears to the vinyl cloth. Recovering would be an option but would probably be fine with some vinyl spray paint. I have left this decision up to the new owner as many prefer the originality, however tatty. The chrome fittings are very good for their age with some minimal corrosion spots but as the photos show, plenty of life in them yet. I have lubricated the deck mechanism and changed the fuse to a 3 amp as this offers greater protection to the appliance. Fully PAT tested for safety. It plays well, sounds great and should last many years.
