Rare Vintage DAVID CLEVERLY Studio Pottery Cute Tiny Mouse MiceOn Butter / Muffin Dish You are bidding on a cute vintage studio pottery butter / muffin dish with lid, hand-made by the notable Devon based Potter David Cleverly. It has two tiny very sweet and attractive little mice on the top with lovely leaf decoration in a wonderful treacle glaze finish. These smaller mice are early examples of his work and are often not signed or impressed. It was purchased at the same time as the 2 mouse candlesticks and 2 egg cups which have "Cleverly" impressed on the base. The size including the lid is approx 3.5" high x 5" wide. Superbly modelled and in very good original condition no damage or repair, some very fine natural age crazing. It's in as NEW, never been used condition. This is a wonderful piece of studio pottery and a great addition to any collection. Reluctantly selling this much-loved collection of Cleverly mice due to having a young child who likes to climb up to shelves! It's time for other collectors to care for and appreciate them.
