This is a Vintage Davis Verticle Feed Sewing Machine cabinet, made in Dayton Ohio. The veneer on the top of the cabinet is in exceptionally good condition for a treadle this old. The four curved drawers have some small pieces of veneer chipped off of the edges. This is shown up close in the pictures. Otherwise the condition of the wood is beautiful. The ruler decal which runs along the front of the wood in front of where the machine fits in, is half worn off. A Davis treadle head with a 7" X 14 1/2" (rounded corners) base will fit in this cabinet. The black paint on the metal of the treadle legs is chipped but there is no rust. Check the pictures and if you have any questions I will try to answer them as soon as possible.
