You are bidding on a Vintage 8 Day Hunter Case West German Cuckoo Clock in Working Order. This clock is in good shape and it does run great. The clock comes complete with pendulum and weights . The clock is very highly detailed with a huge deer head with antlers on the topper piece with 2 crossing guns. Also on the front of the case is a bird on one side and a rabbit on the other and a hunters horn around teh dial and a hunter's pouch on the bottom of the case.The case of the clock has a beautiful light brown finish on it. The clock cuckoos and gongs once on the half hour and also the number of times it is on the hour as well. The dial of the clock is marked W. GERMANY. The movement is in great shape and is stamped REGULA MADE IN GERMANY. The back door is also stamped WEST GERMANY 8 DAY. The bellows in the clock appears to be in almost BRAND NEW shape as well. The clock is about 20" long not including the pendulum and about 12" wide and 9" deep. This clock is in as good shape as you can get for its age and it does run great . I t is getting harder to find clocks like this one in this kind of shape and in running order. The only flaw that i could find is it looks like there has been a repait done to the front part of the clock but it is behind the bird and rabbit and this does not hurt the look or the running of the clock in any way. read more
