Up for auction is this vintage Decca Childrens victrola, phonograph, record player. Not sure of it's age but I would guess it's from the 1930's (?). This item plays 78 rpm records and functions fine. The sides are made of tin and feature really neat vintage lito of storybook characters; the front reads: I'm Hans Christian Andersen. Side: The Ugly Duckling and Tuckworm, other side: The King's New Clothes, and the back: Thumbelina. It is marked Decca Reg US Pat. Off. on the front and the metal arm reads: Made in England. Back has a label that reads; Decca Dist. NY NY. Item is in very good condition, has just a few nicks and scratches and t as to be expected. The turntable does have some wear/discoloration, but it does function fine. I tested it with the record shown in the picture (not included). Measures 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" and stands about 6 1/2" high (including arm). I can't imagine t are too many of these left out t..would make a great addition to your collection!
