The only way to describe this vintage serving tray is funky shabby chic! Green painted wood edge with black painted inset rim. Glass covers a paper center.The design on the paper is oval in the center with deco inspired characters. Two women, one with a fan, and a minstrel serenading them. T's a droopy cherry tree as well. The center is black with blue, green and gold. Teh outer design is of large abstract flowers. I noted deco because the figures appear to be from that period. I would guess that this tray is from the 40's or 50's. The outside green rim is a rich green, a slight lighter than forest green. More of a grass green. The blues in the center are bright and vivid. Two handles, of wood, at each end. The underside is thick cardboard tacked on with little felt feet.Measures: 20" x 13 1/2" x 1"This tray is in good condition. The glass is not cracked or chipped. The wood edge is chipped and shows wear. T's a nick in the green paint w I can see black underneath. The handles are chipped w they attach to the tray.
