This auction is for an an old, very unique, clear glass bottle made in the shape of a woman from the waist up, wearing a fancy gown, a large ornate necklace and possibly a crown or tiara. The bottle is stamped on the bottom " Made In Italy ", and appears to be hand made, as opposed to being machinery mass manufactured. I say this because t are three very distinct seams, one on each side and one up the back and they are not straight up and down. T are also several bubbles in the glass which may indicate that it is of older vintage. The bottle is in good condition, but t are a couple of tiny chips on the very bottom. The bottle measures 12 1/4" tall, 3 3/4" at the base and 5" wide at the lady's shoulders. At one time I'm sure t was a cork or other type stopper in the top, possibly a wine or other liquor container. Other than That, I don't know a whole lot about this item. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!
