VINTAGE DEFIANCE MFG. BUTTONS & MACHINE PARTS The items are from my fathers estate who worked for the New York Central Railroad as an upholster. I sold the Defiance model #1920 button machine several weeks ago and then found these items. The three steel metal parts are in good working condition but tarnished in some areas. The box of buttons are marked --Defiance Button Machine Co. Deep Uph #9 loop Comp., Plain & AP , size 22, 5 gross---I think t is about 3 to 4 gross still in the box. The one part looks like it was used to cut the leather or fabric and the other two maybe used with the machine to make the buttons, not sure.
