DeForest D-7A 3 tube reflex radio receiver. This radio dates to about 1923 and is in good to very good condition, showing normal wear. The ad stated that a thousand mile range could be had on a two-foot indoor aerial !.You get five stages of amplification on three tubes! thus longer life for your storage batteries..This radio is being listed for a longtime radio collector, he has decided to sell a few more of his collectables. This has been in his collection for many years, and was used from time to time. We tested it out recently, and found it to work fairly well, as most collectors know reflexes can be a bit "moody" this one received several local stations very good, while distant stations took a bit more work to tune em in. This set-up includes the loop (looks to be original), three tubes (tested good) and the plug-in transformers. The radio lookes to have had a connection or two re-soldered in the past, this was the way the owner purchased it years ago. A bit harder to find DeForest radio, that will make a nice addition to any collection..I will be listing more radios/items so please :Check out my other items !
