This is a depression glass cake cover. I do not know the pattern but I have seen it in the Depression Glass Identification Books. It is very heavy as all depression glass seems to be. The size is about 9 inches high and 27 to 33 inches around. It will hold a very large cake in the tradition of grandmothers.
