This is a beautiful vintage (c. 1930s) Diamond Point lever filling fountain pen in nice cosmetic and working condition. A substantial pen measuring approximately 5 1/4" capped, it is reminiscent in look and feel to the streamlined Conklin Symetrik pens of the same era. The color is lovely, featuring a red with brown and gold flecks and blotches pattern. The pen shows typical wear from use with no gouges, nicks, scratches, cracks, or engravings. Minimal brassing to the clip and trim. The cap threads on the barrel perfectly. The lever is a bit floppy, and the clip is slightly pushed away from the cap; I leave these adjustments to the new owner. The medium nib is very flexible, reads "Warranted 14k 2," and is a fun writer. The pen has been lightly polished, fitted with a new ink sac, and is ready to write. It will make a lovely addition to your collection or an enjoyable daily writer. NO RESERVE , so bid with confidence! All items are sold AS IS--be sure to email with any questions BEFORE bidding.
