Vintage DIEBOLD Combination Safe Lock TIME LOCK Combo NO Padlock. Here is a nice vintage DIEBOLD combination and time lock for a safe door. It has an unusual timelock attachment. Unusual operation, though I will have to play with it some to figure it out again. It has been a couple years since I played with it. Seems to me you turn the dial to the right to wind the time clock, then dial the combination. The lock however will not open until the clock runs down and you dial the last number to retract the bolt. A very interesting set up. Likely for gas stations, and other retail stores to prevent robbery. Measurements. Dial roughly 2 3/4 inch diameter, and bezel 3 1/2 inch diameter. The black iron body measures 2 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches by 2 3/8 inch thick. Please ask questions early one, and look at photos for condition.
