Not sure how old this metal model is, but I would think it is 1950s or earlier judging by its quality. It all appears to be in original condition, the only damage I can see is the partially broken knurled firing wheel. When this is screwed in it releases a sprung steel tongue inside the breech to fire a shell up the barrel. One screw adjustment alters the limited traverse of the gun in relation to its base. I think there was a sprung steel strip that would have added spring resistance to this adjustment, the other adjuster elevates the barrel. Two original metal shells are present and sit at the front of the base. The base measures 7.5cm square, the barrel and breech are approx 11.5cm in length. I always send my items in a suitable box and packing for postal safety.
