Dino & Pebbles Large Plastic Piggy BankVintage 1962fromThe FlintstonesHanna-Barbera Cartoon Series 1960-1966This Large Dino and Pebbles Bank stands about 13" tall and has a footprint of around 6" x 5"It is stamped (on the underside of Dino's tale): BDSstamped on the back with: (c) H.B.P.& stamped on the bottom: (c) Homecraft prodIt had writing on the bottom that said: "To Ashley 1962", and it appears that whoever wrote that also wrote "Pebbles" across Pebbles' back. This writing came off with a damp cloth though some of the color still remains in the crevaces as I did not attempt to thoroughly scrub this item.Please note that I have posted the photo of the writing that was on the bottom simply for dating purposes. I am assuming this bank was given as a gift in 1962. I've researched this bank online & it seems that others are dated later than 1962. This photo was taken before cleaning this bank and the writing in the photo is no longer present .All other photos (other than the one showing the writing) were taken after cleaning this bank.This bank is missing the plastic stopper on the bottom. It does have signs of age and is need of a deeper cleaning. I found this at an estate sale.
