This one is for you serious collectors. This is a genuinely scarce and rare VINTAGE DONALD DUCK CERAMIC BANK by LEEDS. This is a companion piece to the equally scarce and valuable Donald Duck cookie jar by Leeds. Leeds is often known for their cold painted "turn-about" cookie jars. However, in the early 1950's they produced a few pieces that were air-brushed and glazed. The Donald cookie jar and this companion bank were part of that series. Seldom seen, the Donald Duck Bank is in fantastic condition with no chips, cracks, or other flaws. He has been opened up on the base for coin removal and it appears that the opening was enlarged in a slightly irregular fashion. This sign of usage in no way devalues it. Displays beautifully.
