A great vintage item, of exceptional quality. The couch is solid wood. Above there is a green leatherette covering in good condition. There are a couple of scuffs as should be expected of something of this age but overall the condition is excellent. The left side of the couch lifts gradually to form a backrest, with a height adjustable wooden ratchet style mechanism to hold the section up. All in all a very heavy, very sturdy solid couch.
