This auction is for a vintage, boxed set to make an 8 piece layette for a 7" baby doll, doll included, made by Bucilla. It is a cute kit, with fabric to make a pillow and carriage cover, a dress, slip, panties, coat, bonnet and booties. The pattern pieces are stamped on the fabric. Instructions are missing, but it does not look too difficult to complete. The carriage cover and pillows have some of the embroidery work already done. It is well done. The set is not complete. You will get the carriage cover with pillows, stamped fabric, the white fabric stamped with the slip and panties, and yellow flannel stamped with bonnet, dress and booties. Also included is vintage lace and blue embroidery floss and ribbon for the bonnet ties. The lace is missing for the pillow/cover, and no more embroidery floss is present. I am quite sure you could add your own lace and use your own floss to complete the set. Some of the printed pieces are lightly soiled, so you may wish to soak them. The plastic doll has open and close eyes and molded hair. Her has painted plastic upper lashes and painted red lips. He is marked on his back "BEST, Pat. Pend."
