This week, I will be selling lots of dolls, most from a large estate collection. T are many fun and funky dolls from the 50’s to the 80’s, and a few even newer. All are sold with a low starting price, and some have cheap BIN’s. Fun, fun, fun! Win more than one auction, and save on combined shipping!This auction is for two very pretty, vintage 1980’s Dolls by Pauline Cloth girls. Pauline Bjonness-Jacobsen was a popular doll artist in the 1980’s….she did very good quality work, and paid a lot of attention to details in the clothing. They are made of firmly stuffed muslin, with lots of detail to the fingers and hand-painted faces. The girls both have long, curly full wigs - a little messy, and could use a restyle (I found both these lovely girls jammed in a box - they were wrinkled and rumpled, but otherwise still very nice!) The clothes are adorable, and well worth my starting price alone. The blue eyed girl wears a big straw hat, and a striped frock with embroidery and smocking detail at the top. She also wears matching pantaloons and replaced crocheted sandals. A little felt lamb is attached to her dress, she may be Mary Had a Little Lamb. The outfit is very good, but the elastic has loosened at the end of the sleeves and top of pantaloons.
