Vintage DONATELLA PELLINI Milan Italy Tortoise Shell Resin Brooch Pin Unique vintage Pellini Milano Italy resin brooch. The brooch appears to be simulated tortoise shell and is embellished with a black resin C with a domed cabochon resin in the center. It comes with the original tag and was purchased from Neiman Marcus. For more information on Pellini and the resin process she developed please see below. The brooch measures 3.25" x 2.5" and is in excellent condition. Passed down through the family since 1947, the craftsmanship and tradition of the exquisite Pellini jewelry has resonated over the years with charming jewelry and an artistic aesthetic. Donatella Pellini, part-owner and designer, uses a technique of innovation and tradition for the creation of her Pellini jewelry that has become world-renowned. Her signature "inclusions" of flowers, petals, and leaves into her designs was made possible by a resin process she developed in 1987.
