Antique Vintage Dresden Sculpture/Figurine Vintage Dresden Yardley's English Lavender Figurine Please view additional pictures below for you to determine actual condition and detail. All items are sold "AS IS" unless otherwise noted. This figurine reflects the life of the average person. A woman and her children are carrying baskets of fresh picked lavender - perhaps on their way to sell them at the local market or a gift for a friend. The 3 figures are perched on a raised footed platform. Rich white porcelain is hand painted in pinks and purples. In between the four (4) scroll-style feet is a crest which is painted with a bouquet of pink roses, purple and blue flowers with green leaves. The outer part of the crest is painted in magenta and purple. 2 more crests are found on the back. Walking on plush green grass, the woman is with her daughter and son. The woman and boy carry overflowing baskets of lavender while the girl is wiping her hands on her clean white apron. All are dressed in rich and vibrant colors. The woman is wearing a rich dark red top, orange skirt a white crisp apron with a matching white and red hat on her head. The daughter is in a chartreuse green skirt, white blouse and white apron. A simple white had adorns her head, The son wears a long blue shirt and pink knickers with tall white sox and a white head on his head. All wear shiny black shoes. The oval in the front has been painted or decaled with some roses. This area would have originally had the Yardley's logo in it. Engraved on the bottom is "SP Dresden". S and a P and stand for Saechsische Porzellanfabrik zu Potschappel von Carl Thieme. SPECIFICATIONS: 12" tall, 8" across CONDITION: Excellent. T are no chips, cracks or crazing.
