Folks. Offered is a vintage cigarette lighter advertising Drug Fair Drug Store. It is highly interesting because it has a different logo from some I've seen in the past. My lighter has "Prescriptions Famous Brands" inside the logo, and the words "DRUG FAIR: are capitalized and printed whereas similar lighters have shown it written in lower case. If you collect advertising lighter varieties, this would be a great complement piece. The lighter was made by "ROYAL STAR Windproof Lighter" in Japan (see Scan 6). Please see my scans in their largest configuration. I'm going to call this in AS IS/AS FOUND condition. There is chipping and wear of the enamel on both sides, particularly as Scan 1 shows. The lighter does NOT work. Although the hinge is tight the wheel has a lot of play in it(you can roll it, whereas it should have friction off the thumb to create a spark ). I suspect it needs a new inside replacement mechanism, just as you would do with a non-working Zippo. S/H is FREE. as well as my other listings.
