Pristine Dunhill Shell with Canadian patent # 209845/21. According to Loring book, this pipe was made in 1928 or 1929.Has the nice old deep blast typical of early Dunhills. All nomenclature is crisp. Other markings are MADE IN ENGLAND 17 with line under the 17. Also reads RI 2. Don't know what this means. The size is more like a # 4? Original stem in excellent condition with no bite marks. Fit is perfect of course. A very nice and light weight pipe, Even though it has been smoked very little, has still been properly reamed, cleaned and sanitized. Ready to be collected and smoked.NO RESERVE.This pipe was sold a few weeks ago on e-bay, but winner did not pay and could not be reached by e-mail, so it is again.
