DESCRIPTION This is a fantastic vintage Eames era large wrought iron "3D" or shadowbox perspective sculptural "bottle cap" man jazz band with bobble head fan dancer (the head on the dancer "bobbles" due to the spring wrapped neck!)! The artwork dates to the 1950's era. The artwork measures 18 inches H x 16 inches W approximately and is approximately 4 inches proud of the wall. The figures are a large central bottle cap figure of a female fan dancer with head that bobbles and t is a saxophone player in the lower corner and a clarinet player in the upper right corner of the frame. The dancer appears to be dancing up or down the "steps" of the wrought iron frame was the corner figures are diagonally placed to great effect. This is the best, largest and most interesting one of these that I have seen in my many years of buying and selling twentieth century modern design and most certainly one of the best "high" kitsch designs. The artwork is in generally very good to excellent condition with the only issue that may concern you is t is a light amount of surface rust to the wrought iron frame that could easily be touched up with some black paint if desired. T is some normal age soiling overall but nothing serious in my opinion. This is definitely the coolest one of these pieces of artwork that I have ever seen and would be fabulous over read more
