VINTAGE EAPG GLASS COVERED COMPOTE ~ BIRD STRAWBERRY From an estate in New Jersey, is a lovely glass compote that measures 11.5 inches tall. The lid has two birds on top; the compote bowl has a band of strawberries and leaves; the pedestal is fashioned with sprigs of flowers (lilies of the valley?) and tall narrow leaves tied in a bow. Three mold marks. Very good condition; no cracks or repairs; and with the exception of one teeny chip on the underside of the edge of the base, no chips anyw else. Please take note of a feather on the top bird ~ not a chip, perhaps a discoloration, or from the process when made. Please email with any questions prior to bidding.
