You are bidding on a very unusual antique brick mold that was probably used by the OHIO Brick Co. to make bricks in the early 1900's. It makes 8 bricks at a time and is all wood, except for the binding and end caps, which is metal. It measures 43x11x3 and the bricks would be 4x9x2,1/2, and it weighs about 25 lbs before packing. The top of the brick would have the recessed word "OHIO" and is raised about 3/8 of an inch. The letters of the word OHIO are carved into the wood about 3/16 of an inch. It is in decent condition with a piece of the metal strap broken off on the back side (see picture). This is a very unusual item and a hard to find item in this condition. I will accept checks or money orders only and shipping is at carrier cost (DHL) to be determined when I have your zip. Email me for a quote.
