PLEASE NOTE: Item being relisted due to a non-paying non-responsive bidder. This is not a game. NOW to the description ---- Vintage early 1900's RARE Weller Art Pottery FROSTED MATTE bud vase. 6" tall straight bud vase with flaring upper and bottom rims that has a FABULOUS GLAZE with a thick, scaly, alligator like matte green base applied over the buff colored clay with LOTS of gold highlights and a hint of deep blue at one spot. There are pencil notations on the bottom (indicating an experimental glaze??) otherwise unmarked but guaranteed to be Weller Frosted Matte -- maybe one of the first pieces off the production line. Condition wise there are two glaze imperfections. One small glaze miss on the outside bottom of the upper rim and a glaze pull in the thick pooling of the glaze on the under bottom rim otherwise excellent condition on a very uncommon Weller piece.
