Fabulous art glass shade, richly detailed, amber color
We recall seeing a too-close-to-be-discounted art glass shade on a Handel lamp not so long ago, and though this wonderful painted landscape art glass item is intended for a hanging fixture, we have to think t's a Handel connection in t somew The base color is an exceptionally rich amber, and the hand-painted landscape is nothing short of exquisite. Very good overall condition with modest surface scratching (mostly at the shoulder) and just a touch of modest flaking at the fitter, which we note measures 3 3/16", outside edge to outside edge. The entire shade is 9" tall X 7 1/2" wide.
