Great vintage pelham puppet of Tv character "mr Turnip".....who was created by Joy Laurey and Michael westmore....This puppet dates from circa 1953....the "brown box" was used from 1947 to 1953........Condition:Box lid -corners rubbed,one end spilt and one repaired...box base-one corner end spilt...a little staining.Puppet-in very good condition....fresh colours to face/head......clothes in good condition.....original wood controller.....strings needs sorting out...some tangling etc.
