Just a gorgeous knife!!This is a very nice Edge Brand #477 Original Buffalo Skinner made in Solingen, Germany. Edge Brand has long been renowned as one of Solingen's premium brand makers. The knife shows no signs of ever beeing used, carried, or sharpened and is in superb condition. Knife is near perfect with just a couple very light carbon spots on the blade. The edge is very sharp and free of any nicks or chips The stag handle is outstanding and is set between beautiful hardwood spacers. The stag is very dark and rich and has an exceptional look. It's tightly secured with the standard German screw-down pommel. The pommel nut is intact and shows no signs of ever being tightened. The handle is free of any cracks or chips. The blade is 4-1/4" and the knife measures 8-1/4" in overall length. The sheath is the original and is excellent condition. It features an embossed bugling elk. An gorgeous example of a classic knife!! Note: I have recently acquired a huge life-long west coast collection that I'll be listing over the next several months. T are literally hundreds of high quality and rare pieces. T are pocket knives and fixed blade knives from some of the biggest name makers, as well as many incredible customs. Many of the sheaths are customs as well, handcrafted for the specific knife they hold. And these are not your average sheaths. Most of the sheaths were crafted by master leather workers. Check back frequently if these types of items interest you, as I'll be listing new pieces almost daily. Shipping note: Due to a rather severe hand injury (no, I didn't cut myself), my shipping is running a bit late. I am a one man operation that must now function with one hand for the next 4-6 weeks. I will do what I can to get your item out in a timely manner. If you require expedited shipping, or simply want your item as fast as possible, please let me know through eBay's message system and I'll have it out in a day or two. If you can be patient, I would certainly appreciate it though. If this is a problem, then please refrain from bidding and try me again when I've got the use of both hands again. Sorry for any inconvenience.
