Estate Sale find. Vintage Edward P. Martin Company Manufacturers ,Chicago Nautical compass or Scientific Instrument. Do not know the year the item was manufactured or exactly what it is.. Base is solid wood and 8 inches round.The rest is solid brass and the circle is 9 3/4 inches round. I showed it to a couple of experts and they had no idea what it was exactly but they guessed either a nautical compass or some kind of scientific instrument. If you know kindly email me. Sold as is and as found.
