This auction is for a pair of chairs. I bought these chairs about 7 years ago in a vintage furniture shop in Brighton for £350 each. We were told they were Edwardian chairs in oak. They are really comfortable with feather filled cushions. The chairs have a wooden pole at the back that can be moved to three different positions from upright to reclined. However, one chair has lost this pole during our house move several years ago. It could be easily replaced with a piece of dowling. The cushion covers might need a bit of a clean but are in generally good condition. A seam is coming undone on one of the back cushions but could be easily sewn up. Reluctant sale of beautiful chairs that but they just don't fit with the rest of our furniture now. Collection in person only, please. Will accept collection by courier if they can specify a time and don't expect me to wait in all day. Payment and collection within 7 days of end of auction.
