Effanbee's Composition creation of Patsy Babyette is pure nostalgia. Composition is rated to be very good condition with an overall fine crazing to the head and body. Flesh color paint wear on heals, toes, calves and fingertips in various spots. Minimal handling grime on the back of neck, cheeks and forearms.
She is sleepy eyed (one is a little lazy)with Hazel colored eyes, thick eyelashes. Molded hair has lost 99% of its paint with only a few brown strokes on the back of the head still existing. She wears a lace trimmed sleeveless smock of white and red gingham detailed with a shiny red satin bow and small pearl button on the bodice little white panties with an elasticized lace waist which are not original to the doll.
Fully jointed head, arms and legs. Stringing in very good condition, however her head does bobble a bit and could use tightening. She measures 9 inches and was produced 1928 - 1930.
Accompanying Patsy will be a vintage late 30's handcrafted and painted wood Duck rocker. Patsy's owner, an avid collector of dolls from her childhood is forced to relinquish part of her sizeable and well loved collection, so be sure to visit our other doll categories to view such notable dolls of memory as Shirley Temple, Buddy Lee and the Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplets.
