Hi everybody! Gungirly's auctions have changed just a little bit so please read the fine print. I'm ending the summer with a BANG & have LOTS of wonderful goodies to list! Offered for auction is a vintage, jeweled, sterling silver, egyptian revival, figural serpent necklace adorned with bezel set lapis lazuli. This beautiful old piece is finely detailed and expertly crafted ..... not only does it feature 6 intertwined snakes .... the links connecting the main pendant to the chain and the clasp are figural snakes. It is signed 925 in 3 places. The necklace is in excellent vintage condition with no damage. It has not been cleaned and has a wonderful patina that only age can bring. The necklace measures 16 5/8" long from end to end and measures 1 7/8" wide at the center. This is a silvery, sinewy, sexy vintage necklace is sure to be a smashing halloween accessory or as a sophisticated, unusual addition to your fall and winter wardrobe!
