WELCOME TO MY AUCTIONS OF PIECES OF THE PAST!! Featured below is one of many pieces of authentic vintage and antique costume and fine jewelry I offer on a regular basis. This particular listing is for a pair of signed vintage Whiting and Davis Egyptian Revival clip earrings composed of gorgeous molded Czech glass open-back cabochons set in ornate etched gold plated base metal frames! The turquoise cabs are highly detailed and feature a dimensional low relief Egyptian goddess standing in profile in front of a wall of hieroglyphics! These earrings are featured on page 150 of the book "Egyptian Revival Jewelry and Design"and are dated by the author as circa 1930's. Both earrings are marked "Whiting & Davis Co." They measure 1 1/4 inches in length and are in excellent condition! These top quality earrings from a very collectible manufacturer would make a super addition to any collection!
