VINTAGE EISENBERG ORIGINAL STERLING RHINESTONE FUR CLIP MATCHED EARRINGS APPROX MEASUREMENTS CLIP 2 1/8"W by 3 1/8"L weight 1.8oz signed Eisenberg marked Sterling both ends on back EARRINGS 7/8"L by 3/8"W not signed weight .2oz Total weight 2.0oz This wonderful Eisenberg clip and matched earrings came from an extremely well-appointed family estate auction held in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is part of a larger collection of vintage jewelry purchased. The box, (which I only have the store-top lid) indicates the piece came from Schlanderer's Jewelry Store in Ann Arbor. I remember this store growing up and it was definitely considered one of Ann Arbor's finest. It's large. Opulent. Dazzling. Love the oval shaped "lily" buds decorated with tiny stones. Wonderfully crafted silver surrounding the larger multi-faceted stones. Just has an impressive look. The condition of this piece is extremely good. Certainly is in dire need of a soft cleaning which I have not done and am selling this clip exactly as purchased at auction with the old patina. The rhinestone are huge, bright, and settings are tight. T are no loose stones. Colour tone is clear and t are no chips to the facets that I can detect. It truly sparkles. Two of the smaller stones are missing which I did my best to photograph. The clip portion is excellent. Sharp. Very sharp. Needs cleaning. Signed sterling twice on the back. The earrings are not signed. But, the squared cut of the stones match the clip. (they were with the clip in the box) They are in fabulous condition. Free of apology. Just think this is a stunning ensemble. Dazzling in colour. Highly stylized. Extremely well-made. Artistically designed. If you are a collector of Eisenberg, or looking to add some PIZZAZZ and sparkle to your Holiday attire, this set would be utterly spectacular.
