Vintage 1952 Elgin American Cigarette Case with Lighter This is a vintage Goldtone Cigarette Case and Light with a Diamond cut design with a fancy scrolled oval on the front ready to be inscribed. Comes with the original purple pouch with a box that has a red leather outside, red velvet base a satin lining with the name Elgin American on both the inside and outside covers. The lighter and case measure 5" x 3 1/2". T is a lock on the bottom which allows you to flip open the lighter when you close the case or use it with the case open. The bottom of the lighter has two screws one for the replacement of the flint and one to fill with lighter fluid. The lighter appears to have been used lightly. Some light scratches on the bottom . All hasps and locks work smoothly.
