Handpainted with gold gild trim.
It has a double sided image: on one side is Cinderella with her Fairy Godmother, and on the opposite side is the Prince kneeling down to try on the golden slipper on Cinderella's foot. On the top of the lid, the finial represents a ladies high heeled dress shoe...the famous glass slipper. The body of the teapot represents the stage coach, with gold trim on the wheels. I don't believe this teapot has ever been used, but, at the same time, it has been stored for a long time on an open shelf. T is some age glaze crackling, a paint chip in Cinderella's hair, on the fairy Godmother side, some slight color loss, such as the Godmother's hair?, and some slight discoloration due to dust and grime buildup. No chips or cracks that I can detemine, and the gold gild is vibrant and shiny! It is stamped on the bottom, and most of the manufacturer's information is legible...See the photo.
It measures: from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle--aprox. 10".; and from the top of the slipper to the base--approx. 6" .
